Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Fully Remote (laptop and mobile provided)

Job Type: Part-time (School term hours 09:00 – 15:00 or 10:00 – 14:00 - 3 or 4 days a week, Tuesday to Friday or Tuesday to Thursday.

Duration: Long Term Temporary

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Reed in Colchester are supporting our client seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at a leading provider of educational capital works projects. Their mission is to enhance learning experiences in schools across the UK by assisting them with securing Condition Improvement Funding (CIF) from the government. If you are passionate about education and have a knack for sales, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Day to day of the role;

  • Proactively reach out to schools via phone calls, emails, and other communication channels
  • Present our CIF bid writing service to school administrators, governors, and decision-makers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools to understand their needs and provide tailored CIF solutions
  • Assist schools in preparing comprehensive CIF bids, ensuring they meet all necessary criteria and requirements
  • Achieve sales targets by effectively managing your time and prioritising leads
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to schools throughout the CIF bidding process
  • Stay up-to-date with government guidelines and regulations related to CIF funding

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the education sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Highly organised with good time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • A passion for education and a genuine desire to support schools in improving their facilities
