Job Title: Business Development with Marketing

Location: Crawley - on-site, free parking

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 DOE

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

You will benefit from working alongside an experienced member of the team for support and training and will get to enjoy the flexibility of a field-based role, giving you the opportunity to travel and meet clients across Sussex and the South East.

About your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Utilise lead-generating software to identify potential targets and develop strategies to nurture relationships and generate new business.
• Keep a meticulous record of leads, creating a robust pipeline for future business success.
• Network with industry professionals, attend career fairs, and actively engage within the community to expand the company network and seize growth opportunities.
• Take charge of the social media platforms, maintaining the brand image and engaging with the audience primarily on Linkedin and Twitter.
• Create compelling website content that resonates with the target audience.
• Maintain open lines of communication with company Directors, providing updates on any developments, successes, or challenges.
• Stay ahead of industry changes and updates.

About you:

• Proven experience in business development and a solid understanding of effective business development strategies.
• Knowledge or interest in the construction industry advantageous.
• An understanding of digital marketing with a focus on social media management and website content creation.
• Exceptional networking abilities, able to connect with industry professionals and represent the brand confidently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Highly organised with the ability to keep track of leads and opportunities, ensuring no opportunity is missed.
• A valid driver's licence and a car are essential for this role, as you will be required to travel within the South East region to meet clients and network.
