You don’t need experience for this role, just loads of enthusiasm and a desire to learn.

As a business administration apprentice, you will be part of a team that can be found throughout our organisation, playing a vital role in delivering our strategy, helping to find innovative solutions to challenges and supporting our colleagues to deliver their work.

What it's like to work here

This is a wide and varied role supporting colleagues across the organisation. Initially you will be based on site but as you develop we may be able to offer hybrid working. A dedicated mentor will be allocated to you to support your learning and development throughout your programme. 

There may be opportunities to travel to other National Trust locations and some overnight stays to expand your learning and experience, with all expenses covered.

All training will be delivered through a combination of on-line and on-site learning.

As part of the Central Business Services team, you could find yourself helping to deliver a project or event, managing our travel or purchasing requests, or doing diary management for a central director. You could be designing and publishing a page on our intranet or helping a colleague prepare for an important meeting. 

What you'll be doing

Working alongside your mentor on tasks specific to your apprenticeship, you will develop the skills & knowledge relevant to this apprenticeship standard.  Business Administrator - Level 3.

You’ll attend, and prepare for, regular review meetings with your training provider, and be accountable for your own progression. You’ll be required to complete mandatory e-learning, courses and training provided.

Who we're looking for In addition to the qualities listed in the role profile, we’d love to hear from you if you meet the following eligibility criteria by the start date of the role:
•A minimum of 5 GCSE’s which must include English and Maths at grade C/4, functional skills level 2 or equivalent •Aged 16 or over and have completed year 11 •Not in full time education •Have the right to work in the UK •Able to travel to work location
If you have a qualification in the same or a related subject to this apprenticeship or have substantial relevant work experience this may exclude you from Government funding – this will be verified if your application progresses. The package
