We are working alongside one of our clients to recruit for a Business Admin Support for a 6 months Fixed Term Contract.
This is a part time role, working 4 hrs a day, 5 days a week.
As one of the UK’s leading 100% independent training providers within the highways sector, Up To Speed Training & Assessment Ltd have offered a comprehensive training solution to the Highway, Civil Engineering, Construction, rural and many other industries for 15 years, specialising in National Highways Sector Schemes including Temporary Traffic Management, Highway Electrical and Highway Barrier systems, NRSWA, Health & Safety, Conflict Resolution/Management Training, First Aid and Land based accredited and bespoke training, delivering compliance, quality and sustainability to enhance their clients’ business.
Through utilising the latest available technology certain courses are available not only via the traditional face to face delivery but also through online learning or e-learning alternatives.
The role is to primarily provide support to the Training Co-ordinator by dealing with the day-to-day enquiries and administration for the site, with additional support for other team members as required.
Duties include:
Manage, organise, and update relevant data using database applications
Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally
Interpret instructions and issues and implement actions according to administrative policies and procedures
Arrange and participate in meetings and site-based team activities
To answer the telephone and direct calls
To update computer databases
To undertake electronic filing and general administrative duties to suit the needs of the business
To make travel arrangements for staff
Proven experience.
Experienced in Word, Excel, and cloud-based office packages
Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
Methodical and organised
Positive attitude towards challenging situations
Capable of multi-tasking and a desire for detail
Ability to solve problems in line with an overall vision
A dedicated team player that can make the most of the people around them, whilst providing the support that enables others to succeed
Must be committed with a 'can do’ attitude.
