Building Surveyor

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £24-28ph

Term: 14 months

As a Building Surveyor, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing planned maintenance and capital works projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough surveys, assessing building conditions, and recommending necessary repairs and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting comprehensive surveys of buildings to assess their condition and identify maintenance needs.
  • Planning and coordinating capital works projects, including re-roofing and external walls renovations.
  • Collaborating with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on building regulations, compliance, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally within the housing or construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and materials.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications in building surveying or a related field.
