Hourly Rate:     £23.90 - £26.53 
 
We are seeking an experienced surveying professional to take on the role of Building Surveyor on a contract basis with a leading Housing Association across Hampshire & Wiltshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team, managing the delivery of planned roofing contracts
  
Main Responsibilities:
 
  1. Undertaking quality control checks at agreed/critical milestones out on site for planned works projects for roofing contracts
  2. You will be working to a job specification and responsible for contractor management
  3. Carry out weekly site inspections (H&S checks) as part of the client duties under CDM
  4. Upon completion of work, processing final valuation and CVI’s
  5. Hold and chair contractor progress meetings
  6. To include the undertaking of typical contract management duties
  7. Carry out regular site inspections/surveying identifying works required
  
Preferred Requirements:
  • Good understanding of building fabric/components/roofing understanding ideal
  • Good contract management skills
  • H&S and CDM knowledge/experience
  
Job Requirements
  • HNC/HND or equivalent
