Building Safety Manager
Our Client, a Developer across London, is seeking a Building Safety Manager to support them across their medium to high-rise buildings. Working with their Managing Agents you will support them reaching their safety targets, performance and technical documentation.
The Role:
- Management of all managing agents in matters relating to building safety act. Ensure any other operational issues with agents or internally are raised
- BSA checklist compliance. Ensure due diligence on behalf of the RMC at all times
- Placing and maintaining appropriate time lines for agents managing any known risks and taking appropriate action should these not be met.
- Ensure all information is prepared for handover to Residents taking over RMC
- Reviewing BSA costs to the service charge budgets and ensuring these are 'fair and reasonable'
- Keeping up to date on all emerging legislation, case law, regular communications to the whole BU.
- Ensuring a culture of safety for the managing agents.
The Person:
- Experience in Building Safety
- Experience in Managing Agents
- Worked on complex mixed tenure schemes
- Strong understanding of L&T legislations, Buildnig Safety Act anf Fire Safety Order
- Has experience with Building Safety Cases
- Can communicate and collavorate well
The Package
- £55,000-60,000pa
