Pro-Found Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Building Claims Handler to join their growing claims management team who provide an insurance claims management and building reinstatement service to insurers and intermediaries.

Building Insurance Claims Handler Benefits:

  • Location: Sheffield
  • Salary: 25 to 32k DOE
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
  • Pension after 3 months: 5% employee/3% company

Building Insurance Claims Handler Duties:

  • Managing claims from start to finish
  • Building a scope of works
  • Giving support to on site engineers whilst works are in-progress.
  • Checking off completed work
  • Supporting with invoicing.
  • Dealing with complaints.

Building Insurance Claims Handler Experience:

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry related to Residential (Home and Commercial) property
  • Technical buildings knowledge.
  • Claims scoping and management software experience, Symbility would be preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment
  • IT literate with ability to learn new technology
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A strong focus on customer service
  • Knowledge and experience of all insurance related perils such as fire, flood, escape of water and storm etc.
