Job Title: Broker Development Manager
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 DOE
Location: West Midlands
A highly regarded insurance provider is looking to expand their team with an experienced Broker Development Manager. The role will be responsible for bringing on new brokers, as well as managing and servicing the existing broker panel to ensure growth and profitability across various commercial lines.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly created team within a big name business, and have the opportunity to make the role your own.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing and developing relationships across the existing broker panel
- Ensure growth and profitability across the panel
- Work closely with members of the underwriting and senior leadership team on sales strategy
- Working towards personal and team targets
- Host and attend social events for brokers and key clients
Requirements:
- Business development experience within the insurance industry is essential
- Have a good understanding of the MGA set up
- Ability to deliver financial targets
- Excellent time and diary management skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent relationship management
- Excellent communication skills
