Broadband Engineer

Our client, a market-leading Wireless Broadband provider, is currently recruiting for a Broadband Engineer to join their Installations team. The Broadband Engineer will be responsible for the installation & support of a range of products including WI-FI radio systems.

This is a field-based role and the Broadband Engineer will be responsible for covering the West Lothian/Lanarkshire area.

Responsibilities for the Broadband Engineer

• Installation of Wi-Fi radios, CAT5 cabling and Routers;
• Installation of CCTV cameras and other equipment whilst working at height on the exterior of residential and commercial properties
• You will be the face of the company, so first-class customer service skills are paramount, you are customer-focused, both external and internal

Key Skills & Experience for the Broadband Engineer

Essential

• Experience in installing Aerials, CCTV, Satellite or Wi-Fi radio systems
• Experienced at working at height, off either ladders, MEWPs or on a rooftop
• Experienced in setting up internal home wireless access/router configurations
• Previous experience working in private homes or commercial premises

• Full UK Driving License
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
