Bridging Underwriter

We are working with a growth company who are part of a large multi million pound group assisting a VIP client based with their property financing requirements

Based in the Trafford Park area in state of the art offices with parking onsite

Salary £40-50k plus a bonus Depending on experience in the bridging and development arena - this role also offers flexible working at the same time as needing to have an office presence due to the nature of the role

We are recruiting for an Senor Underwriter from a bridging and or development products environment to join an established team whilst a series of projects get under way - this is due to an increase in lending levels which will only continue

This is an exciting time to join the company - the pipeline of cases is huge!

Duties will include:

- Deal Management: Efficiently manage up to 30 deals at a time, ensuring administrative and processing tasks are completed accurately and timely.

- Lender Communications: Take charge of sending out lending requests to all relevant lenders and handle all communications regarding lending queries until offers are received.

- Internal Collaboration: Liaise with the team member managing client relationships and introducers to ensure a cohesive process and that all client needs are met from the lending perspective.

- Process Oversight: Oversee the entire process post lender agreement, including the progression to terms agreement, completion, and draw down.

- Specialized Expertise: Must possess substantial experience in underwriting

You will have:

- Demonstrable experience in an Underwriting role within Development Finance and Bridging Finance sectors preferably

- Exceptional administrative and organizational skills to handle multiple deals simultaneously.

- Strong communication skills for effective lender interactions and internal collaboration.

- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.

- Ability to problem-solve proactively and manage processes efficiently.
