Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 (DOE) plus bonus, company vehicle etc.

We are recruiting an experienced Branch Manager for a very well respected merchant, based in the West Cumbia area around Workington, Cockermouth and Whitehaven.

The ideal candidate will have management experience within the merchant sector with a proven track record of growing and sustaining a profitable operation. Passion and determination will be a pre-requisite in order to build up a pipeline of new and existing business. The ability to mentor and develop colleagues and create a working environment that is enjoyable! We are also looking for candidates outside the of the industry who have a proven track record in management and developing a team.

Taking responsibility for maximising the potential sales and overall profitability of the Branch, Business Development activity will be of paramount importance. It goes without saying that candidates will have a demonstrable track record in sales, negotiation and stock control.

• Able to demonstrate all of the above as well as showing an aptitude for success through confidence, accuracy and team work to ensure we achieve our service guarantees.
• Providing an advisory service to customers.
• Using Market intelligence and analysing Stock Profiles and Sales trends to anticipate future direction.

• Salary up to £38,000 - £48,000 (dependent upon experience)
