We are currently recruiting for a Bordereaux Associate behalf of our client, a highly regarded and very well-known Lloyd's/London market business.

The successful candidate will primarily focus on bordereaux management and reconciliation for all classes of business and portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Retrieve, reconcile and map bordereaux from third parties into the company's chosen bordereaux management solution.
  • Monitor bordereaux tracking report to establish status of bordereaux.
  • Examine slip and understand how syndicate has placed their stamp.
  • Determine which bordereaux need mapping and uploading.
  • Retrieve bordereaux from third party repositories.
  • Reconcile and map incoming bordereaux to the business.
  • Provide assistance with any Solvency II related activities as requested.
  • Maintain an understanding of (and comply with) all relevant FCA/PRA/Lloyd's regulatory requirements.
  • Embed TCF and Conduct Risk within the business.
  • Continuous improvement of processes, tools and productivity.

Key Requirements

  • Ideally, candidates will have previous experience within insurance. However, candidates with office experience and a keen desire to join (and interest in) the insurance industry will also be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
