We are an established and always-growing Finance company based in Barnet seeking a Bookkeeping Manager. The salary is flexible depending on experience and we have a great reputation with our employees and amazing staff retention. Our area of expertise is providing financial services.

JOB OVERVIEW

1. Manager to the Bookkeeping Supervisor and Outsourced team (currently 5 individuals).

2. Managing the deliverables of approximately 150 bookkeeping clients

3. Bookkeeping services for clients

4. Reviewing and submitting VAT Returns

5. Reviewing and submitting CIS Returns

6. Managing the processing of the annual CIS suffered reclaim for all clients who are not Gross Status.

7. Delegating work to our offshore team and reviewing their completed work.

8. Assisting with preparing monthly management accounts/information to provide completed monthly management accounts to the Senior Managers for their review and meeting with the client.

9. Responsible for our internal bookkeeping including supplier payments

BENEFITS

· Salary expectations - circa £50k to £65k per annum, but this is negotiable depending on experience

· Hours - 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm (with 1 hour for lunch) with flexitime

· Location of role - office-based with some flexibility to work from home. Our office is in Barnet.

Experience

· Work experience - Previous work experience in accountancy firms is required

· Industry experience - Previous work experience in the Construction and Property sectors would be beneficial

· Software experience

· Qualification status - ideally AAT qualified, but not a necessity

· Payroll experience - beneficial

· Management Accounts/Information - beneficial
