Overview

My client is a long established and family-run business and they have a requirement for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their small and friendly finance function on a permanent basis.

The Bookkeeper will have a range of responsibilities in this role where no two days are the same. The successful candidate will manage accruals and prepayments, perform frequent bank reconciliations and process weekly payroll as well as other transactional finance duties. You will work closely alongside the Finance Manager within a business that has a reputation for very long-serving members of staff due to the importance focused on employee happiness!

Skills Required
  • Have previous experience within a bookkeeping role including experience of processing payroll
  • Be able to work in the office 5 days per week
  • AAT qualification is desirable but not essential as experience is just as important!
  • Be looking to join a business where you can stay for the long term within a close knit, flexible, family feel business
In return, you will:
  • Work 8-4pm with a 2.30pm finish on a Friday, although flexibility can be offered around hours to suit the right candidate
