Bookkeeper - Maidstone - up to £28,000

Our client is a successful and growing Accountancy Practice who pride themselves on offering innovative solutions to their clients by embracing new technology.

They are looking for a full or part time Bookkeeper to join their team based in Maidstone and this would be a fantastic opportunity for someone who has gained basic bookkeeping experience to take on a small portfolio of clients.

As Bookkeeper you will work with clients from a range of industries, including sole traders, limited companies and partnerships.  You will be responsible for day to day bookkeeping and VAT Returns as we as preparing Management Accounts for certain clients.

In order to be considered you will possess the following:
  • Part or fully qualified AAT
  • Knowledge of Xero and QuickBooks
  • Experience of double entry bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns
  • Knowledge of CIS useful but not essential
  • Strong communication skills as you will be dealing directly with clients
