Bookkeeper

Bury

£22,000 - £28,000

This role lets you have the best of both worlds - and who wouldn't want that.

You get to work for a really well-established firm of accountants; there are over 50 staff spread across various departments and they pride themselves on being able to offer job stability and security.

However you will be working in a close knit team of 5 - and working in a smaller team means there is plenty of support around you, you will get great training, build some amazing relationships with your colleagues and never be made to feel like just another number.

The Role:

You will be responsible for managing the Bookkeeping and outsourced accounts for a portfolio of limited companies using Xero and Sage software. The role gives you the opportunity to work closely with business owners helping them to manage their finances - however if you have an appetite to build on your existing Bookkeeping skills the company is happy to train you up in Year End Accounts alongside this (but this is optional).

You will have a great boss, he's worked in this role before so he will be on hand to offer support (and his knowledge) whenever you need it.

There are opportunities to study (again not necessary but its another option for you) and a clear progression route around the business if you want to develop in the future.

All the business is looking for is someone that has previous Bookkeeping experience (practice or industry); is confident at communicating with people so you can manage relationships with your clients and a positive attitude.

Anything else they can teach on the job.
