The Role: As a Bookkeeper within their Accounting Services Team, you will play a vital role in assisting with external client work. Your responsibilities will include bookkeeping, VAT returns, management accounts, payment runs, and forecasting. They're seeking an individual with experience in the field who is proficient with cloud-based bookkeeping software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks. Familiarity with HMRC Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT requirements is also essential. This role requires the ability to work independently and without supervision, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services to their clients.

About You: To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Experience within the field of bookkeeping.
• Proficiency with cloud-based bookkeeping software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks.
• Familiarity with HMRC Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT requirements.
• Ability to work independently and without supervision.
• IT literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with both team members and clients.
