Bookkeeper

The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeping & Payroll Assistant to join a small, yet buzzing firm within Peterborough on a permanent basis. This could either be on a full time or part time basis - with flexibility around your availability.

Full time hours: 8:30am-4:30pm or 9am-5pm
Part time hours: school hours/4 days per week

It is essential that you have experience in an accountancy practice & would be able to hit the ground running with the fast paced nature & diversity of clients.

The firm have had huge successes in acquiring many new clients and this role will see you supporting this busy transition and servicing long term clients.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting with payroll
• Bookkeeping responsibilities including reconciliations and maintenance of accurate books on AP and AR
• Building and maintaining long-lasting and trusting relationships with clients
• Supporting with the preparation of VAT returns
• Ad-hoc administration duties

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant in an accountancy practice is essential
• Sage Payroll & Sage Bookkeeping experience is desired

Benefits:

• £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
