Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting a Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a permanent position and are considering part-time and full-time candidates. They are looking for someone who will get stuck in and help assist the rest of the team with ad hoc duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Prepare and monitor budgets
  • Produce financial reports
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure financial processes align with the companies’ goals

You will need to demonstrate:

  • AAT Qualified and similar experience or QBE
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
  • Xero accountancy software experience
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Payroll preparation/or processing would be useful
