Our well established client are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to work in their Brighton office.

What the role would include:
  • Bookkeeping, bank statements, ledger reconciliations
  • Assisting in the initial preparation of tax returns, VAT & management accounts
  • General financial administration on behalf of the clients
  • Development of processes and procedures to accommodate business changes
  • Introduction of cloud tools
  • Learning new software as it becomes available
  • Working as part of the bookkeeping & management team
  • Visits to client’s offices
The ideal candidate:
  • The desire to always produce work of the highest quality on a timely basis
  • Knowledge of VAT, Self-Assessment and Corporate Tax
  • Knowledge/experience of cloud tools (e.g. Receipt Bank)
  • Strong communication and team working skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Have the confidence to speak to clients face to face
  • Flexibility regarding working location
  • Professional competence
  • A working knowledge of Xero would be an advantage
