Reed Accountancy are delighted to be working with a local charity, who are recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their friendly team on a permanent, full-time basis. Paying a salary of £22K - £24K.

  • Using QuickBooks accounting software to perform bookkeeping, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
  • Managed supplier accounts and built lasting relationships with suppliers by solving queries
  • Preparation and processing weekly payments run for creditors
  • Posting of journal and ledger entries, preparation of financial statements and reports and closed books
  • Coordinating month-end closing processes to ensure completion ahead of aggressive deadlines
  • Accurately perform daily functions, including; Processing Payments Via BACS, A/P tracking, budgeting, Purchase Order, expense management and various reconciliations
  • Evaluating P & L and Balance sheet to detect errors and discrepancies and manage financial health of company
  • Performing budget formulation work involving review and preparation of budget estimates and financial plans
  • Working directly with senior leadership to develop and administer around £1.5 million per year department budget

This role is best suited for someone with history working in a similar role and who is experienced using Quickbooks and Sage. If you are analytical, hardworking and passionate about accounts, please apply today!
