Bookkeeper - Hybrid Working!

• Location- Lewes, East Sussex
• Salary - £25k - £30k (DOE)

HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to work in-house and remotely providing bookkeeping, payroll, and admin services in a busy accountancy practice.

The practice is a friendly, relaxed and growing team that works with a varied portfolio of small and medium sized clients from professional consulting and charity sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• General bookkeeping for Sole Traders and Limited Companies.
• VAT preparation and returns
• Competent posting prepayments and accruals
• Preparing management accounts
• Processing clients payroll
• Completing CIS returns
• Providing general support to clients and the team
• Onboarding clients
• Dealing with HMRC as required by email and phone

Experience:

• Bookeeping: 3 years (required)
• Payroll: 1 year (required)
• Vat Returns: 1 year (required)
• Working in an Accountancy Practice: 1 year (required)
• You must have experience using cloud-based software, preferably Xero
