Bookkeeper - Film, TV & Media Clients

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper, looking to upgrade to a niche accountancy firm that specialises in working with high profile high net worth individuals and international companies from the Film, TV, Media, Entertainment and Creative sectors? Your role will be varied and will include: reporting directly to the Partners, having a very hands on role and liaising directly with all clients, managing all client relationships, preparing the full range of bookkeeping services for clients (Preparing accounts to Trial Balance, Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, Sales and Purchase Ledger processing, making Payments, Banking etc), preparation of VAT returns, management accounts (if you have experience), reviewing work prepared by other staff members and offering clients advise how to improve their business as well as answering client queries. You will also get the chance to work on other areas of accountancy such as various reports, analysis and business management assignments. Your role will be varied and challenging, and training will be provided where necessary. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many exciting growth opportunities in the future. The firm uses modern cloud based software including Xero and Quickbooks Online.

To be considered for this newly created role (March 2024) you must be an experienced Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper and live within commutable distance to Central London. You must have at least 4 to 5 years general bookkeeping experience (or more) and being Xero Certified would be an advantage. You must currently be working for a good quality UK based accountancy firm with experience of the above duties, particularly bookkeeping and VAT returns, and experience of management accounts would be desirable. You must have an interest in working with high net worth individuals and businesses from the Film, TV, Media, Entertainment and Creative sectors. Experience of a wide range of cloud based software packages is essential.
