Bookkeeper / Part Time Accounts Assistant

£15 - £20 per hour, depending on experience 

Chichester

Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a part time Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping. 

In return, our client is offering an hourly rate of between £15 - £20 per hour, depending on experience, plus multiple benefits including Private dental insurance, Flexitime, Company pension, Private medical insurance, a Bonus scheme and more! 

This is a part-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be 21 hours per week. The business is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. 

Reporting to the FD/Management team your responsibilities will include:

  • Issuing statements and preparing reports for payroll,
  • Reconciling bank accounts,
  • Paying supplier invoices,
  • VAT returns,
  • Chasing payments, and more. 

The ideal candidate:
  • Must have experience of working with and using SAGE.
  • Will need to have specific bookkeeping/accounts experience.
  • Needs to be actively seeking a part time role.
  • Will also need to be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail, as well as strong Microsoft Excel skills.
