Bodyshop Team Leader

Basic £35k - £42k, OTE £50k

Southampton

Permanent/Full Time

Our client, based in Southampton, is on the lookout for a Bodyshop Team Leader to join their team.

You’ll be responsible for managing the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets and ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to members of the team.

Duties & Responsibilities of a Bodyshop Team Leader:

  • Monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure key performance indicators are met.
  • Planning the distribution of work amongst the team, utilising available skills.
  • Identifying individual training and development needs through coaching and support.
  • Managing workshop standards in accordance with brand standards requirements.
  • Maintaining and developing own skills and technical knowledge.
  • Calculating and managing the effective use of workshop resources for the business.
  • Fault finding with the workshop.
  • Maintaining safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards.

Your Background & Skill:

  • MET Technician background or experience within a similar role.
  • Good organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to delegate and motivate the team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong problem solving.
  • Good decision making, with the ability to work well under pressure.
