Are you an organised and passionate Cook with experience in preparing delicious meals?

Our client, based in Heversham, is seeking a dedicated Cook to join their team and provide mouth-watering home-cooked meals for their residential boarding students at a Boarding House.

Position: Cook in Charge

Salary: £23,500 per annum pro rata (actual salary £7,070.25) £12.18 per hour

Contract Type: Ongoing/Temp to Perm

Start Date: May 2024

Working Pattern: Part Time

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of appetising meals for residential boarding students
  • Ensure meals meet dietary requirements and adhere to food safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area
  • Collaborate with their team to plan menus and manage inventory

Hours and Location:

  • 13 hours per week (Sunday from 11.00am to 6.30pm and Monday from 12pm to 6.30pm, both with half an hour break)
  • Term time plus 1 week
  • Heversham

Requirements:

  • Previous cook experience
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
