Biomedical Scientist - Haematology

Trident Healthcare Solutions are currently looking for experienced Biomedical Scientist’s in Haematology.

This superior hospital provides high quality healthcare within the region, working with leading consultants and offering a wide range of treatments. Working alongside trained Biomedical Scientists and other trained professionals, you will be part of a collaborative team.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Performing and interpreting a range of laboratory tests on blood and other body fluid.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.
• Record keeping and quality control.
• Providing results and advice to medical staff.
• Working as part of a supportive team of Biomedical Scientists and Medical Lab Assistants.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• HCPC registration
• 3+ years' experience as a Biomedical Scientist.
• Specialist qualification (IBMS portfolio/ blue book)
• Automated Haem/ Coag (SysmexXN/CS analysers).
• Blood Transfusion (BioRadIH500 analysers), LIMS (Winpath Enterprise), QMS (Q-Pulse).
• Morphology experience desirable.
