Biology Teacher

Academics are currently looking to recruit a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Teacher of Biology for an Ofsted rated school of 'Good' in the Cheshire East. This opportunity is full-time, commences after the May half-term break, and work will be guaranteed until the end of the academic year (July 2024).

Our partnership school is known for their ambitious and respectful students who benefit from a well-planned curriculum. Triple Science as a subject within this school that is tremendously popular with students; with estimated around 50% of the year group opting to take on the separate sciences for further study. Role Requirements

• The relevant Biology qualification(s): PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons, with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
• A genuine passion for teaching Science, with the ability to deliver fun and engaging lessons.
• Good knowledge of the national curriculum and that you are able to teach up to KS4.
• Outstanding communication skills and can build good rapport with students.
• An energetic, positive, and 'can-do' attitude!
• Strong behaviour management.
• A current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or to be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).
