Location - Slough

Start - 26th Jan

Reed Education is currently looking for a Biology Cover Teacher to work in a popular school in Slough starting from 26th January.

The ideal candidate would benefit from a degree in Biology and experience teaching Biology to students of all ages.

The candidate should be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to learn and achieve their full potential. The candidate should also be able to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

The position is temporary and full-time.

Job Description:

Cover classes for absent teachers in a secondary school.

Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfil the requirements of the school’s curriculum program and show written evidence of preparation as required.

Prepare lessons that reflect accommodations for individual student differences.

Evaluate student performances in class and provide feedback.

Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive relationships with students.

Communicate with parents and school counsellors on student progress.

Participate in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.

You will need the below:

Experience teaching secondary school students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
