Biochemistry Biomedical Scientist Band 6 - Sutton, London
My client based in South London is looking for an experienced, Band 5/6 Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract, starting as soon as possible.
The Role:
- Job Title: Biomedical Scientist

- Location: St Helier's Hospital, Wrythe Lane, Carshalton, SM5 1AA
- Organisation: Clinical Blood Sciences SGUH, ESTH
- Start Date: 4 Months Initially
- Working Pattern: 37.5 hrs/week
- Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri, 09:00 - 17:30, 1 hr unpaid lunch
Requirements:
- HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist
- Either Band 5 or 6
- Must have minimum 1 years' experience - (Client would like to know which laboratory, equipment & assays)

- Essential Skills:
- Strick adherence to standard operating procedure
- Excellent pipetting
- Accurate weighting
- Using volumetric apparatus
- Buffer preparation
- Integration
- Data handling
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Desirable Skills:
- Using Chromsystems assays
- Using Waters LCMS and Agilent HPLC systems
- Literature searching
