We are recruiting for a well-established, leading company in Bishop’s Stortford, who are in need of a Billing Assistant to join their established team, on a 12 month contract. 

They offer flexible working hours, hybrid working and parking.

Key Responsibilities as follows:
  • Support the timely and accurate addition of new charges to the billing system in line with contract information
  • Import and analyse data from suppliers into the billing system
  • Provide timely and accurate production of monthly bill runs
  • Maintain the billing platform to ensure accuracy of automated billing processes
  • Analyse large volumes of data to create reports
  • On-boarding new customers and new suppliers into the billing platform
  • Provide analytical support to resolve customer queries, which will help colleagues to provide excellent customer service
  • Assist and support various billing projects when needed
Key Requirements for the role:
  • Comfortable collecting, modelling and analysing data
  • Flexible and supportive to other members of the Finance team
  • Be intermediate with Excel
  • Must have excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise their workload efficiently and effectively
  • Must have experience working well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and individually
  • Experience using billing systems advantageous
