Bid Writer /Manager - Permanent - WFH - OTE £60-65K

Due to strong growth, our client - a managed service provider - is creating a new opportunity for an experienced Bid Writer/Manager to join their organisation.

This role is more about where you can take this opportunity, as opposed to being siloed into the 'corporate machine’.

Initially you will be working with the Senior Leadership Team and be responsible for creating technically sound and customer centric content for bids within the Education sector. In addition, you will also focus on developing the look and feel of the bid documents which will reflect the client’s culture and values.

Our client is unique in that they make their staff the front and centre of everything they do. If you have a passion for taking your career to the next level - we want to hear from you!

We are looking to hear from experienced and versatile Bid/Tender Writers/Managers who want to be responsible for managing the requests for tender documents, acting as the subject matter expert when discussing the approach to a tender response and working side by side with the various specialists in the relevant teams.

This is a full time role, though my client is also open to this role being either part time or Term Time for the right candidate.

Your Experience

  • You will be able to co-ordinate and produce proposals (RFI/RFP, ITT, PQQ).
  • Experienced focused Bid Writer/Manager - ideally some of your work will have been around the Education sector.
  • Have a specialism in Frameworks Contracts.
  • Responsibility for preparing, managing, and writing our client’s responses to National Frameworks tenders.

Desired Skills

  • Experience writing bids/tenders for education projects in the UK.
  • A track record of winning proposals within highly competitive markets.
  • 1-3 years corporate/public sector strategic and technical writing experience
