Bid Financial Modeller

We are seeking a Financial Modeller to join our client on a full time and remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial modelling and analysis for bids and tenders.

Client Details

Our well established client is seeking a Bid Financial Modeller to join their growing team, on a full time and permanent basis. This role is fully remote with occasional travel to the Kent based office. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and finalising cost, financial and commercial models for all bids and price submissions.

Description

Duties of a Bid Financial Modeller include;

• Develop and maintain financial models for bids and tenders.
• Identify financial risks and provide appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Taking ownership for the ongoing development of business cost model.
• Collaborate and liaise with other departments to streamline bid processes.
• Maintain data of performance metrics for collection contracts to ensure accurate creation of cost estimates and contract comparisons.
• Attend Regional meetings with existing contracts and actively identify development opportunities.

Profile

The successful Bid Financial Modeller will have;

• A degree in Finance or an Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA).
• Previous experience as a Financial Modeller working in a tendering, bidding or pricing environment.
• Cost Modelling and estimating experience.
• Intermediate/ Advanced on Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
