Bid Coordinator - Belfast (Majority Remote Working) - Permanent Opportunity

About the Role
You will be part of a team consisting of seven Bid Coordinators, located regionally across the UK, a Bid Consultant, three Commercial Bid Managers, a Bid Library Manager and an Opportunities Manager, all working under the direction of the Group Bid Director

The Bid Coordinator supports the Bid Manager in the delivery of bid and proposal documents and capability statements. The post holder will work closely with the Bid Team for each proposal. This is a key business support role within our Belfast office supporting proposal generation and submission. You will play a central role in collating and producing quality information for bids.

Whilst the role is nominally office based, we have adopted a flexible approach to home working when there is no business need to be in the office.

The Bid Coordinator will report directly to the Group Bid Director.

Accountabilities:
• Coordinating the bid management process.
• Organising mobilisation meetings, check point calls and bid reviews
• Managing the bid programme.
• Liaison with Bid Manager, Technical Authors and external consultants to make sure there is timely collection of all necessary documentation for bids and proposals.
• Making sure bids and proposals are compliant and delivered by the due date.
• Proof-reading text to make sure all grammar and spelling are correct.
• Managing bid control procedures to make sure they conform to the Group Bid Management Processes.
• Reviewing bid outcomes and forwarding high scoring content to the Bid Content Database

Skills Required:
• Excellent administrative and organisation skills
• Unwillingness to compromise on quality
• Effective internal and external communication skills
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Initiative and perseverance
• Excellent time and programme management.

Knowledge:
• Advanced MS office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Intermediate level skills in MS Publisher or In-Design Creative Suite

Personal Qualities:
• Flexibility, including a willingness to work outside normal hours of work when necessary
• Collaborative team working

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a role demanding similar skills and qualities. They will have excellent knowledge management and knowledge sharing skills.
