Role: BI Analyst

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)

Location: Ipswich (hybrid 2 days onsite)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our Marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset coupled with a deep understanding of marketing data and metrics. You will be responsible for extracting, analysing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive informed marketing strategies and decisions.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Integration:

Gather data from various marketing channels including but not limited to digital campaigns, social media, email marketing, and website analytics.

Integrate data from different sources into a centralized database or data warehouse for analysis.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Conduct thorough analysis of marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Develop KPIs and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Predictive Modeling and Forecasting:

Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to build predictive models for forecasting marketing outcomes and trends.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven marketing strategies based on predictive insights.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing analytics.

Recommend process improvements and data collection strategies to enhance the quality and accuracy of marketing data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and IT teams to ensure alignment on data-driven initiatives and strategies.

Provide support and insights to various stakeholders to drive decision-making and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or Data Analyst, preferably in a marketing or digital analytics role.

Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
