Our client, a well established Scottish based contractor require an experienced a Bench Hand Joiner in Cumbernauld

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for carpentry, framing, hand tools, power tools, and finish carpentry. You will also be responsible for producing joinery staircases, balustrades, door sets, architraves, skirting, and screens. Additionally, you will produce made-to-measure bespoke furniture for fit-outs, integrating with materials such as; stone, metalwork, glass and M&E services.

You will need :

• A minimum 3 Years Experience with Carpentry and Hand Tool skills
• You MUST have Experience with Power Tools
• A minimum 3 Years Experience Framing and Finish Carpentry skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience working within a joinery manufacturing facility
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry and Joinery
• Experience within the commercial joinery and shopfitting industry is a plus
• Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment
