Behaviour mentor - Teaching Assistant

  • Primary & Secondary SEND Schools
    * Based in Bromley
    * Part-Time

Empowering Learning is recruiting experienced TA to support a number of schools in Bromley as Teaching Assistants. Your role will be to support pupils with different SEND needs, some needs you will be supporting are Autism and ADHD. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but is not essential. You will be working on a part-time basis working 5 days a week with the opportunity of getting a permanent contract with the school after three terms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties
  • Ability to engage and support pupils
  • Supervising pupils behaviour

Job Requirements

  • Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND needs is desirable but is not essential
  • Able to stay calm and de-escalate challenging Behaviour
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 2-6 months minimum
