We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join our team and work with children facing behavioural challenges in a school based in Luton . The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting these students, promoting positive behaviour, and facilitating their academic and personal growth.

Location - Kent

£80-£90 per day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural issues, helping them develop coping strategies and improve their behaviour.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement personalised behaviour plans.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions and strategies as necessary.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Engage with families to provide guidance and support in managing behavioural challenges at home.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with behavioural issues, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
