We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Lead to join our team in Bedale.

Position Overview: As the Nursery Room Lead, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing young minds and shaping the learning environment within our nursery. We are looking for a Level 3 qualified professional who is not only experienced in early childhood education but also possesses a genuine enthusiasm for fostering children's development. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the growth and success of our provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate activities based on the Curiosity Approach principles, fostering curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
  • Mentor and support nursery staff, providing guidance and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Establish positive relationships with children and families, maintaining open communication and ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to evaluate and improve the quality of provision, implementing changes and enhancements as necessary.
  • Uphold compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety guidelines, ensuring the welfare of children and staff at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a nursery setting, with a strong understanding of child development and early learning principles.
  • Passionate about the Curiosity Approach and committed to creating an inspiring learning environment for children.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to embrace new ideas and approaches.
  • Strong organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and a desire to further enhance skills and knowledge.
