Are you a CBT Psychological Therapist seeking a new challenge? Do you have experience working with people with complex Psychological needs?

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced CBT Therapist to support Gloucestershire IAPT Services. The successful candidate will provide high intensity psychological support to Adults with a range of mental Health conditions. The contract will run for an initial period of 3 months with the likelihood of extension.

Job Role: Band 7 CBT Therapist

Pay Rate: £30.00 LTD p/h + £250 SCS Sign-Up Bonus

Location: Gloucester

Operating Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00-20:00 (Flexible working available)

Contract: 37.5 hours per week (part time considered)

The post holder will be part of an Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service and will provide high intensity interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the psychological health and well-being of clients in a designated locality or team within the IAPT Service.
  • Work with clients who have a range of complex anxiety and depression related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.
  • Directly provide and coordinate highly specialist psychological assessment and interventions to individuals/ groups and organisations.
  • Clinically supervise less experienced therapists, trainees and the Low Intensity workforce within the IAPT Service.
  • Be responsible for ensuring their clinical outcome data is routinely entered and appropriately collated.
  • Support the delivery of highly specialist training, education and close partnership working with external educational providers.
  • Utilise research skills for audit, policy, service development and research
  • Work with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and should be committed to equal opportunities.



Requirements:

  • BABCP provisional / full accreditation
  • Previous experience working with Adults
  • Substantial Mental Health experience
