We have a fantastic opportunity for a locum Occupational Therapist to join a leading teaching hospital, based in Berkshire. They are seeking a qualified OT with previous NHS experience.

Job Description

• Standard/Enhanced DBS
• OT degree or equivalent with post-grad experience
• HCPC registered
• Car driver is essential
• Use own knowledge and skills to provide support and advice to own team
• Manage own caseload of patients with complex conditions autonomously
• Ensure high quality, effective and efficient OT service
• Specialist post graduate experience
• Understanding of a broad range of Elderly care, Medical, Neurological, musculoskeletal &orthopaedic or surgical conditions
• Specialist knowledge and experience of a wide range of approaches to the management of conditions, including advanced clinical reasoning and treatment skills
• Knowledge of Clinical Governance and its implications for the occupational therapy service
• IT skills, including EXCEL, power point and e-mail
Experience of a range of health settings - desirable

Position Requirements

• HCPC Registered
• Minimum of two years postgraduate experience
• Previous clinical experience performing a similar role within a Occupational Therapy setting
