Band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) – (medical, surgical, orthopaedics, neuro)

Day Webster have just received the position below located in Portsmouth. This position will be full time 37.5 hours

Duties are
  • To assess and treat own caseload of patients within the defined clinical area and maintains associated records
  • To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner within your area of specialty
  • Facilitates and supports the discharge planning process
  • Supervises less experienced physiotherapists, therapy assistants / technicians and students.
  • To work flexibly across specialties when requested, and if competency allows

Requirements:

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a practising Occupational Therapist.

Proven experience in delivering occupational therapy services within a healthcare or community setting.

Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a client-centred approach to care planning.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
