One of our bigggest clients in Camden and Islington are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Band 6 Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist on an ongoing basis . The client offers full-time contracts, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio.

Main Duties for the Band 6 Community Mental Health Occupational Therapist includes.

  • Provide specialist functional assessments including assessments of daily living skills using the Model of Human Occupational assessment tools (MOHOST) to ascertain level of functional ability, related risk factors, level of support, and accommodation needs to implement community care plans.
  • Provide adaptive equipment and maintain a high standard of service user care.
  • Lead on and deliver group programmes alongside other OT staff and to carry a generic caseload of care coordinated clients as a member of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Provide specialist recovery/vocational/social inclusion focused assessments and advice, with an emphasis on supporting clients with their employment, education, and training goals.

To Be Successful.

  • Experience of working with clients who have mental health difficulties.
  • Full immunisation records
  • Experience carrying out MOHOST assessments
  • HCPC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Occupational Therapist Qualification
