Our client is seeking an AV Engineer to join their team!

About them:

Our client is an independent audiovisual systems integration company, founded in 2005 and located in Peterborough, but the work takes them UK-wide. They specialise in the design, supply, and installation of bespoke high-quality audiovisual solutions across a range of sectors including public, corporate, hotels, leisure, bars, restaurants, education, retail and within the home.

The role:

You will work within a team of AV Engineers, responsible for the delivery, installation, and commissioning of audiovisual projects for both commercial and residential clients across the UK. You will be involved in a diverse range of projects which include LED screens, control systems, projection systems, video conferencing, audio systems, lighting, and more.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Cable, install and configure audio visual equipment.
  • Assist/manage the installation of AV installations – 1st and 2nd fix.
  • Build and wire equipment racks including labelling.
  • Terminate all types of AV and data connections.
  • Follow cable schedules, and risk and method statements.
  • Fault find and troubleshoot technical issues.

This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, and the role involves regular travel across the UK, including overnight stays.

Salary up to £35,000 per annum.

The person:

  • Have previous AV installation experience.
  • Be a team player, resourceful, organised, and flexible.
  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • ECS/CSCS useful but training and test will be provided.
  • Willing to travel for work with regular overnight stays across the UK/Europe.
  • Available for overtime when necessary.
