Automotive Mechanic - Dagenham
Location: Dagenham, UK
Join the forefront of automotive innovation in Dagenham. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic. This is an exceptional opportunity for those passionate about the automotive industry and eager to contribute to the production of cutting-edge vehicles.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our production lines.
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering department to implement process improvements and introduce new products to the market.
  • Design, verify, and implement jigs and components, and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Offer training and support to production teams, ensuring the transfer of knowledge and skills.
  • Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and quality throughout the production process.
  • Assemble automotive products with precision, and complete related documentation accurately and timely.
  • Efficiently operate computer systems and automotive technology tools, with a keen eye for troubleshooting and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, with preference given to candidates holding technical certifications.
  • Proven experience in automotive manufacturing or a related technical field, demonstrating a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency, with experience in ERP systems considered an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required by production demands.
