Our client are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join their site in Pencoed. The successful candidate will utilise the latest technologies to develop automated manufacturing and test facilities, contributing to an award-winning manufacturing facility. This role is offering a salary of up to 38,000.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Develop bespoke Automation solutions.
  • Research the latest technologies and ideas for production environment application.
  • Liaise with internal and external companies to manufacture designs.
  • Build, test, and debug equipment designs and control circuits.
  • Adhere to company procedures and produce necessary documentation to ensure compliance.
  • Produce documentation in accordance with required safety standards.
  • Work within a cross-discipline engineering team, communicate best practices, ideas, and project updates.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic circuits.
  • Experience of Project Management/Schedule Setting.
  • Excellent understanding of Manufacturing Equipment Safety Requirements.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Knowledge in Robotics.
  • Knowledge of PLC Programming.
  • Knowledge of 3D CAD Design, preferably SolidWorks/AutoCAD Inventor.
  • Knowledge of PUWER/COSHH regulations.
