Job Title: AutoCAD Design Engineer

Location: North Norwich, UK

Position Overview: Currently seeking a skilled AutoCAD Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at our site in North Norwich. The ideal candidate will have experience in 2D drafting (essential) and 3D modeling (desirable), with a strong background in manufacturing or engineering.

Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate 2D drawings and detailed 3D models using AutoCAD software.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop design concepts and solutions.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to production teams.
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of design work.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software, with demonstrable experience in 2D drafting and layout.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling techniques and software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Location: This is a full-time position based on site in North Norwich, UK.
