A specialist school and residential centre for young people with Autism are looking for an Autism Specialist Support Assistant to support children with Learning Disabilities, complex needs and Autism. The SEN students are aged between 5 and 25 and all have significant emotional needs and behavioural challenges. So, the successful autism specialist support assistant will be supporting each individual's wellbeing and personal development. This is a full time opportunity to start ASAP and the school is based in Maidenhead.

This is an AMAZING opportunity for any aspiring teachers, educational/ occupational/ clinical psychologists or therapists as you will gain invaluable first-hand experience working with a range of Special Needs and Mental Health issues.

The specialist school is looking for an Autism Specialist Support Assistant who can bring passion, experience and enthusiasm to the classroom. They are looking for an adaptable and proactive Autism Specialist Support Assistant who is able to use their own initiative. The students will benefit from engaging, empathetic and caring individuals who are passionate about supporting more vulnerable members in the community.
