Role: Teaching Assistant - Primary

Location: Southwark, South East, London

Contract: Full time

Hours: 8:30-16:00

Start: Immediate

Rate: £90-105

We awe are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Classroom Assistant to join our leading OFSTED partner schools in Southwark, South East London. We want ideal candidate to be someone willing to shape the future of young pupil's mind and make a positive impact to students. The role would require you to support a autsitic pupil in a 1:1 setting.

The ideal Autism Classroom Assistant:

  • Has experience working with children and young people with special needs.
  • Has personal interests in supporting children and young people with special needs.
  • A positive, proactive, and patient individual who has a can-do attitude and is willing to learn.
  • A team player and has great communication skills.
  • Being able to build good working relationships with students and staff.

The ideal Autism Classroom Assistant responsibilities:

  • Previous experience in a health care setting is Essential as you will be looking after vulnerable individuals.
  • Candidates must have a valid DBS certificate on the update service (registered online) or you must be able to do a new DBS.
  • Successful candidates will be contacted via email or phone.
  • CACHE Level 2 or above.
  • Please note that candidates are responsible for the cost of their own DBS Certificate.
